Bruce Bates

Mr. Bruce Bates of College Park, Ga. died Monday, July 5, 2004, at his residence.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10 at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Ga. with the Rev. Jeff Lowe officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Elsa Bates of Houston, Texas; mother, Mary E. Bates of College Park; daughter, Melissa Bates of Houston, Texas; stepdaughters, Sandra of Houston, Texas, and Lourdis of Ecuador; sisters, Jane Templeton of Henderson, Texas and Regina McCullough of College Park; brother, Gary Bates of Molina; five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 9.

Robert Jack Milner Sr.

Retired

Robert Jack Milner Sr. of Woodbury, Ga. died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at his residence.

He had retired from the position of forklift operator at Ford Motor Company. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps and had been a member of 1st Assembly of God in Manchester, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jaillette Milner; daughters, Susan Skaggs of Woodbury, Alison Phillips of McDonough, and Beth Duncan of Warm Springs; son, Robert J. Milner Jr. of Griffin; seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbus Hospice, Moon Road, Columbus, Ga.

Asteria Williams

Mrs. Asteria Williams of Jonesboro died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolpho Telechea, and brother, Elias Intriago.

A Chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10. Entombment will follow at Camp Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Williams; mother, Olga Intriago de Zuelta of Panama, Republic of Panama; daughter, Aimee Y. Schroeder and Joe of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; son, Thomas G. Williams Jr. and Ana Lia of Riverdale; sister, Heliana Intriago of Panama; grandchildren, Thomas G. Williams III, Michael Williams, Natashia Williams, Kayla Schroeder, Mitchell Schroeder and Emily Schroeder; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 9.
