Mr. George Dewitt of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2004.
Services will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 10 in the chapel of Pope Dickson Funeral Home, Jonesboro Chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Dewitt; daughter, Karen Dewitt and fianc?, Martin Castaneda; sons, Joey and Jan Dewitt, and Randy and Phyllis Dewitt; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Retired Captain William Lindsey "Billy" Watson II, 69, of Hampton, Ga. passed away Thursday, July 8, 2004, at his residence.
Captain Watson was born in Fulton County Sept. 17, 1935, to the late Benjamin Franklin Watson and the late Viola Daniell Watson. He was a member of the United States Naval Reserves and the National Guard. He was a retired Captain for the Clayton County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Watson was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Retired Captain Billy Watson will be Saturday, July 10 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Simmons and the Rev. Ed Lynch will officiate. Interment will follow in Wildwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
Captain Watson is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary Watson; children, Kathy and Wayman Bowman of Stockbridge, Ga., Gail and Alvin Johnson of Milner, Ga., Jody and Angie Watson of Locust Grove, Ga., and Vicky Mitchell of McDonough, Ga.; grandchildren, Robby, Shannon, Mary, Misty, Kim, Michelle, Tracey, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Danielle, and Jessica; brother, Daniel Watson of Blairsville, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Asteria Williams of Jonesboro died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolpho Telechea, and brother, Elias Intriago.
A Chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10. Entombment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. Father Gregory Hartmayer will officiate.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Williams; mother, Olga Intriago de Zuelta of Panama, Republic of Panama; daughter, Aimee Y. Schroeder and Joe of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; son, Thomas G. Williams Jr. and Ana Lia of Riverdale; sister, Heliana Intriago of Panama; grandchildren, Thomas G. Williams III, Michael Williams, Natashia Williams, Kayla Mitchell, and Emily Schroeder; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions are made to the American Kidney Fund, 7 Dunwoody Park, Suite 121, Dunwoody, GA 30338.
