James Clark

Mr. James Vester Clark, 70, Noah's Ark Road, Jonesboro, Ga., passed away Thursday, July 8, 2004, at the Henry Medical Center.

Mr. Clark was born in Stateline, Miss. May 15, 1934, to the late Simon Vester Clark and the late Mary Alta Harris Clark. He was retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Clark was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret Smith Clark of Jonesboro; daughter, Cindy Clive of Griffin; son, Chris Clark of Lovejoy; grandchildren, Casey Clive, Katie Clive, Christina Clark, Kyla Clark, and Luke Curry; sisters, Vera Mills of Wiggins, Miss., Hazel Read of Chickasaw, Ala., and Betty Hill of Grand Bay, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. James Clark was conducted on Saturday, July 10 at 7 p.m. at the Stockbridge Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Friends visited the family Friday from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Doniel Ray Frazier

Doniel Ray Frazier, 81, of Rex, died Saturday, July 10, 2004.

Mr. Frazier was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years, where he served in World War II and Korea. He was preceded in death by his wife Helga Frazier.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 13 at Pope Dickson & Son Morrow Chapel, with Dr. Warren Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Arnett and son, Gilbert Frazier of South Carolina; brother, Doyle Frazier, and sister, Ima Shinn; grandchildren, Allen Patrick, Doniel Patrick, Angie Banks and Terry Arnett Jr.; five great-grandchildren.
