A man came to see a motorcycle that was for sale, then stole it from the owner. The owner of the motorcycle, 30-year-old Kyle Cross of Creekstone Way in Riverdale, had advertised the 2001 Honda CBR 600 in the Auto Trader publication and on Tuesday a man called asking to see the bike, according to a Clayton County police report. They met around 5:25 p.m. at a location on Anvil Block Road. The robber arrived in a dark blue, custom painted Cadillac that was driven by another person and which left the scene before the motorcycle was taken. Cross told police that the man asked to sit on the motorcycle, then asked to start the bike so he could hear how it sounded. After starting the bike the man picked up his shirt and showed Cross a gun in his waistband. The man told Cross to back away, Cross did so and the man left on the motorcycle, also taking with him Cross' $268 helmet that was the same platinum color as the motorcycle.More like this story
