Michael Kirk Hayworth

Michael Kirk Hayworth, 60, of Morrow passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2004.

Mr. Hayworth served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was also a member of Toastmasters, Int.

Funeral services will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, July 16 at Pope Dickson & Son Morrow Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Hayworth; sons, Justin Hayworth of Roswell and Scott Hayworth of Hampton; daughter, Marla Roberson of Morrow; grandchildren, Zachary and Jainah Roberson and Jordan Hayworth; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Melvin Doyle

Lockhart Sr.

We celebrate the homegoing of Melvin Doyle Lockhart Sr. Monday, July 12, 2004.

He was born Oct. 21, 1935, to Luther and Annie Mae Lockhart in Tennessee Ridge, Tenn. He was preceded in death by an infant son and an infant daughter. He was a resident of Forest Park and a retired employee of General Motors.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17 at the Antioch Baptist Church, 7949 Tara Road, Jonesboro, with the Rev. Jesse Hobgood officiating. Graveside services will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Brian Lockhart officiating.

Viewing will take place at Pope Dickson Funeral Home in Morrow from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16. Family receiving time will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Arlene; daughters and their husbands, Anna Marie and Tony Ellis, Kitty and Jesse Hobgood, Shelly and Jerry Workman, and Colleen and Mike Jones; sons and their wives, Melvin Jr. and Ellen Lockhart, Brian and Tammie Lockhart, Mark and Karri Lockhart, Tim and Becky Lockhart, and David and Grace Lockhart; 33 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five siblings, four in Michigan, one in Tennessee, Vera Triplett, Leola Tanner, Marie Agey, Judy LuEllen, and Raymond Lockhart and his wife Ginny.
