Thomas Joseph Levesque

Thomas Joseph Levesque, 86, of Morrow died Sunday, July 11, 2004.

He was a member of the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church and the Senior Center. He was the former owner of the Naum Keag salvage in Salem, Mass. Since retirement his hobby was automobile mechanics.

Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at the Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Levesque; children, Jeannine Matton, Roland Jalbert and Henry Jalbert; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Helen Chapman Stone

Mrs. Helen Chapman Stone, 83, of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, July 29, 2004.

She was a homemaker and a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31 at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Candy Thacker officiating. Remains will be placed in state at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Jones Memorial Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William Carlton and Patti Stone of McDonough; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Stone and Steve Miecznikowski of Jonesboro; sister, Ruby C. Walden of McDonough; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Stephanie Miecznikowski and Steve Smith of Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 135 Bradford Square, Suite B, Fayetteville, GA 30215.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
