Mr. Robert Glenn Walker Sr., age 53, of The Roberts Point Road, the Jackson Lake area of Jackson, Ga., passed away Thursday, June 3, 2004, following an extended illness.
Mr. Walker was born Jan. 31, 1951, in Anniston, Ala., son of Jack and Mary Walker, who survive. He grew up and was educated in McDonough, Ga. He was a certified professional computer technician, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, June 5 from the Macedonia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Powell and the Rev. Bill France officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Jon Stewart of Dacula, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Katie Walker of Rockledge, Fla.; grandchildren, Kinley and Camden Stewart of Dacula, and Amanda and Zachary Walker of Rockledge; father and mother, Jack and Mary Walker of Jackson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Fred Miller of McDonough, and Cindy and Dennis Zabala of Hoover, Ala.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Lori Walker, John and Robyn Walker, and Doug and Lesa Walker, all of McDonough; several nieces and nephews.
