For years, Reed Sorenson and Joey Logano dominated their racing divisions during the Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thursday Thunder Series.
These days, both teen-aged drivers have moved into bigger and faster stockcars as part of the American Speed Association racing series.
Saturday night in the BFGooodrich Tires 250 in Mansville, Oh., both drivers proved they belonged on one of stockcar racing's top minor league series.
Sorenson, who recently graduated from Woodward Academy, started in the 23 position, but brought his car to the front of the pack en route to a third-place finish.
Logano, who set a Thursday Thunder track record with 14 straight victories from 2000-2001, qualified for Saturday's race in the No.-5 spot, and finished 16th.
