Wilbur Richard Jenkins

Mr. Wilbur Richard Jenkins of Riverdale died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Southern Regional Medical Center.

A veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, he had retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 29 years of service.

Chapel services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, with the Rev. Bruce Irwin officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Mable Jenkins; daughter, Barbara Darlene Moana Jenkins of Jonesboro; sons, Richard David Jenkins of Tyrone, Ronald Ross Jenkins of Riverdale and William Scott Jenkins of Forest Park; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 9.

Elizabeth Jane McLean

Elizabeth Jane McLean, age 62, a resident of Hampton, Ga. died Sunday, June 6, 2004.

Mrs. McLean was born April 2, 1942, in Melrose, Mass. She was a loving mother and grandmother that loved shopping, traveling and working crossword puzzles. Her faith in God was very important to her.

Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with the Rev. Scott Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her companion, Tom McLean; children, Tommy McLean of Hampton, Mandy and Kim Mauk of Hampton, Barbie and Keith Nunnally of Locust Grove, and Patricia and Matt Raxter of Hampton; stepson, Scotie McLean of Snellville; grandchildren, Taylor McLean, Jennifer Nunnally, Kali Nunnally, Matthew Mauk, Ryan Nunnally, and Matthew Raxter.

Sarah Louise Bartlett

Celebration of life services for Sarah Louise Bartlett, age 93, a resident of Rex, Ga. since 1945, will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9 at Horis A. Ward's Fairview Chapel.

She was preceded in death by husband John R. Bartlett.

Survivors include her daughters, Saralyn and James Henry, and Charlotte and Leonard Brown; son, Clarence and Bonnie Bartlett; brothers, Hollie Ellis and Lewis Ellis; three sisters-in-law; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many foster children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to the Methodist Children's Home.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
