Ron Bowers Ron Bowers, 65, of Riverdale passed away Sunday, June 20, 2004. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 23 at Pope Dickson & Son Jonesboro Chapel, with Dr. Warren Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Rose Bowers; son, Stuart; daughter, Terry; stepson, Marty; stepdaughters, Sonda, Connie and Myra; six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pope Dickson & Son Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, Jonesboro Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. She was the widow of the late Alvaray Hendershot. She was a member of the Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and of the Morrow Eastern Star 531. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23 in the Morrow Chapel of Pope Dickson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Candy Thacker and the Rev. James Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pope Dickson & Son, Morrow Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
