Retired

Mr. Wilburn T. Butler, 83, of Riverdale, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004.

He was a retired truck driver for Colonial Stores, Inc.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, March 5 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.

Preceded in death by his son, Lindy Jerome Butler, he is survived by his wife, Martha Kathryn Butler; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Odis Savage of Acworth; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Jane Butler of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Herman Mitchell of Rio Rancho, N.M., Frances and Whitley Arwood of Riverdale and Audrey and Bobby Oakes of Riverdale; sisters, Jessie Tucker of Hapeville and Mary Dunn of Smyrna; grandchildren, Amy Caylor and husband Warren, Shawn Savage, George Butler and wife Lisa, and Ann Marie Stinson and husband David; five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Otis Watson Sikes

Retired

Otis Watson Sikes of Rex died Tuesday, March 2, 2004.

A member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, he had retired from General Motors.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, March 5 in the chapel.

Survivors include his daughter, Dorothy Harris of Social Circle, Ga.; son-in-law, Buster Harris; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Mitchell Pearce; brother, Luther Sikes; sisters, Nellie Hanks and Mildred Lovvorn; sister-in-law, Muriael Sikes; brother-in-law, Everett Lovvorn; grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
