An unknown man drove into a brother and sister with his truck Sunday.

Edward Mann, 35, of Rex and his sister Shaneka Mann, 29, of Morrow got into a "verbal altercation" with the suspect while at Paradise Park in Morrow, Clayton County police Capt. Jeff Turner said.

"At some point during the heated exchange, that guy got into his car," Turner said.

The siblings began walking along the roadway when the suspect hit them with his truck and left the scene around 4:54 p.m. Sunday. The Manns were walking along the shoulder when they were hit.

"It was a deliberate act," Turner said.

Both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Southern Regional Medical Center.

Police are looking for a heavyset black male driving a brown 1990s Chevrolet truck, Turner said. The suspect was wearing a Michael Vick jersey and blue jeans and had facial hair at the time of the incident.

Turner said that the suspect could face two counts of aggravated assault.
