Helen Ellis Lewis Helen Ellis Lewis, age 79, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, March 27, 2004. Her husband, Robert Leon Lewis, and brothers, Jim, Ed, Paul and Jack Ellis preceded her in death. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 31 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Tom Daugherty officiating. Survivors include her daughters, Becky and Larry Martin of Braselton and Debbie Gentry of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kimberly and Ashley; many friends at LaFayette Nursing Home and Baptist Inn; nephews, Steve and Doug Ellis; other nieces and nephews.
