John H. Brown

John H. Brown, 76, of Griffin, formerly of Clayton County, died May 1, 2004.

Brown was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, Griffin. Survivors include wife Marie M. Brown of Griffin; five sons and their spouses Johnny and Joni Brown of Fayetteville, Clayton Brown of Griffin, Dwayne and Angie Brown of Forsyth, Keith Brown of Griffin, and Allen and Julie Brown of Senoia; five sisters, Edna Gibson of Stone Mountain, Eva Brookshire of Griffin, Mildred Smith of Stockbridge, Martha Biby and Ruby Harris, both of Forest Park; two brothers, Emmett (Red) Brown and Herman Brown, both of Forest Park; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, at Rehoboth Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jessie Dasher and the Rev. Bennie Tate officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Caroline Jacob

Caroline Jacob, 62, of Fayetteville, died April 29, 2004.

Survivors include her son and his spouse, Robert and Misty Carrier of Jonesboro; two sisters, Deloris Zoline of Arizona and Patricia Sawcett of Michigan; brother, Mickey Yuhas; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 4, at Tara Garden Chapel with Pastor Danny Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the hour of the service.
