Mr. Arnold Brannon, 68, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Nolan and Naomia Greene-Brannon.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 at Harvest Baptist Church, with Dr. Ben Smith and the Rev. Tracy Smith officiating. Remains will be placed in state at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Brannon; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Frank Burke of Fredrick Town, Mo.; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kelly Bradshaw of McDonough; grandchildren, Heather and Brad Holder, Luke Bradshaw, Jordan St. Peter, Molly Burke and Stacy Burke; great-grandchildren, Madison and Payton Holder; brothers, Johnny Brannon of College Park, Jimmy Brannon of Franklin, Ga., Joe Brannon of Atlanta and George Brannon of Chesapeake Bay, Va.; sisters, Jean Bowlen of Union City, Betty Holcombe of East Point, Patsy Garrett of Ottewah, Tenn., Faye Scott and Martha Hill, both of Chesapeake Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Brannon may be made to Rainbow House, 879 Battle Creek Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
