Edna Earl Fruitticher, age 79, of McDonough, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004.
She was born in Gordon County, Ga. to the late H.C. and Eula Dodd. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, former member of Rock Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 30 years. She was a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Rex, Ga.
The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, May 14 in the Chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors, with the Rev. Roger Waters and the Rev. Del Buttrill officiating.
Mrs. Fruitticher is survived by her husband, Leroy Fruitticher; sons, Jeroy (Joan) Fruitticher of McDonough, Keith (Sue) Fruitticher of Morganton, N.C., and Barton (Elaine) Fruitticher of Stockbridge; brother, Horace Dodd of Lake City; grandchildren, Derain Roper of Marietta, Janna Fruitticher of McDonough, Steven Fruitticher of Atlanta, and Suzanne Fogleman of Hickory, N.C.; great-grandchild, Will Roper of Marietta.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
