T. J. Elmore

Retired

Mr. T. J. Elmore, 77, of Stockbridge, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2004, at Henry Medical Center.

He was a retired truck driver from Ryder (P.I.E.) truck lines and a member of Teamsters Local 728.

Services took place at Tara Garden Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Stewart officiating. Interment followed at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ouida Elmore; sons, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Gail) Elmore of Jonesboro, Mr. and Mrs. David (Ida) Elmore of Douglasville, Mr. and Mrs. Coy (Linda) Elmore of Dothan Ala., and Mr. Roy Elmore of Dothan; sister, Ms. Musette Ingold of North Carolina; grandchildren, Chris Elmore, Tanya Cain, Ran Elmore, Athna Glisson, Tim Elmore, Terri Simon, and Lamar Hopkins; 17 great-grandchildren.

Christian Francis Honiker

Mr. Christian Francis Honiker, age 33, of McDonough, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in Walton County.

Christian was born Oct. 23, 1970, in Berkshire County, Mass. He owned Honiker Floors, partnering with his father.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, May 28 in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Riley officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.

Survivors include his parents, Cliff and Peggy Honiker of McDonough; brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Delania Honiker of Crestwood, Ky.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wendy and Brad Blosser of Dunedin, Fla., Pam and Bill Monroe of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Paula Clayton of Rensselaer, N.Y.; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., Suite 1100, New York, N.Y. 10016 in memory of Christian.
