Clayton County Police are trying to determine if a body found in a lake at Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro is that of a a missing Fulton County man. Police suspect homicide, Clayton County Police Capt. Jeff Turner said, but he did not release the cause of death. Around 2:55 p.m. Wednesday 29-year-old Scott Ludwig of Stockbridge was riding his mountain bike on some trails near the lake when he saw the bloated body floating in the water. "He immediately went to the park center and called 911," Turner said. On Oct. 28 park employees found near the lake a 1992 Nissan Maxima belonging to a 49-year-old Asian man reported missing from Fulton County. The man had been reported missing the day before. Turner would not release the missing man's name. Police closed a road by the lake that led to a tennis center where parents were waiting with their children while the body was pulled from the lake.More like this story
