Accidents involving tractor trailers tied up traffic on Interstate 75 and U.S. Highway 19/41. Around 8:50 a.m. a tractor trailer truck traveling north on I-75 ran into the back of a car in heavy traffic just south of the Jonesboro Road exit, said Morrow Police Lt. Sharon Witmer. The truck pushed the first car to the side, hit a second car and that car was pushed into the rear of a third car. In the Highway 19/41 accident a tractor trailer collided with a Pepsi Cola delivery truck around 8:11 a.m. Tuesday just south of Mundy's Mill Road, Clayton County Police Capt. Jeff Turner said. Turner said he did not have more information on the cause of the accident, but he said one person may have been taken to Southern Regional Medical Center after it happened.More like this story
