John "Jackie" Berry

John "Jackie" Berry, 53, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004.

He was preceded in death by parents Juanita Clayton Berry and Helvyn Berry.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 from the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his children, Gary Jason Nolan of Cartersville, Christopher John Haren of Jonesboro, and Amanda Ann Baxter of Cartersville; brothers, Roy C. Berry of McDonough and Gene C. Berry of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Aynslea Baxter and Neeley Baxter; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sue Haught

Mrs. Sue Haught of Molena, Ga. died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Thomaston Health and Rehab of Thomaston, Ga..

Mrs. Haught was a native of Baxley, Ga. and had been a resident of Morrow, Ga., where she lived for 30 years. She had been a resident of Upson County for one year. Mrs. Haught was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

A memorial service was conducted Monday, Nov. 22 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Mark Harris officiating. Burial followed in Sherwood Memorial Park.

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Lea Haught Ward of Molena, Ga. and Mrs. Susan Haught of Lawrenceville, Ga.; son, Mr. Randy Haught of Conyers, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Adel Giddeon of Baxley, Ga. and Mrs. Connie Perkins of Peroia, Ariz.; five grandchildren.

Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21.
