Mrs. Pamala Duffell Simmons, 54, of McDonough, Ga. died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Medical Center of Central Georgia.
She was born June 24, 1950, in Athens, Ga. Mrs. Simmons was an active member of McDonough Christian Church, she was employed by Image Builders Advertising Specialties of McDonough, and was known for always helping others and enjoying her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ray Duffell.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Leslie officiating. Interment will follow at 4 p.m. at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Simmons of McDonough; daughter, Jennifer Simmons of McDonough; mother, Mrs. C. E. Yarbrough of Athens; brother, Brad Duffell of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Kathy Johnson of Athens, Debbie White of Raleigh, N.C. and Patti Bradford of Bishop, Ga.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m.. today at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends Sunday afternoon after the committal service at 1081 Arberwood Ridge in Bishop, Ga.
Those who wish, in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Hope House in Union City, Ga.
