Wayne Walraven Mr. Wayne Walraven of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lynell Walraven; son, Mr. Michael W. Walraven of Riverdale, and future daughter-in-law, Michelle Stone; daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Bryan (Dana) Wambles of Riverdale; sisters, Kathryn Fry of Dalton, Geneva Cox of Ringgold, Rose McIntire of Argon, and Linda Jongema of Cartersville; grandchildren, Jack Wambles and Amanda Wharton, both of Riverdale. He is preceded in death by brothers Gordan Walraven, James Walraven and Ronald David Walraven. Mr. Walraven was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church and The American Legion Post 258 of Jonesboro. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Zion Hill Baptist Church, the Rev Martin Jones officiating. The remains will lie in State from 11 a.m. until service hour, with the internment at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 2 till 4 and 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
