After breaking the Clayton County rushing record last week by gaining more than 300 yards, Aubrey Dorsey followed that up by gaining more than 200 yards as Mt. Zion beat Columbia 45-20 Friday night.
Dorsey scored five touchdowns with runs of 68, 65, 34, 8 and 5 yards.
Martin Ward added one touchdown for Mt. Zion.
Mt. Zion led 38-20 at the half.
Eagle's Landing Christian Academy 36, Glascock County 0: The Chargers defense rose to the occasion Friday night at Glascock County by allowing just 60 total yards.
"Our defense dominated and we were sloppy on offense," ELCA head coach Tim Luke said. "Our defense did a fantastic job and I give all the credit to our boys and defensive coordinator Marcus Trivette, who had a perfect game plan. They absolutely could not move."
Tyler Black led the way on defense with eight tackles and one sack while Alec Huber added 11 tackles. Huber also caught 6 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Cole Springer completed 10-of-16 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns. He had two carries for nine yards, including a 1-yard touchdown run.
Tim Waters caught two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. He had four carries for 43 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown run.
Brent Patrick ran six times for 51 yards, including a 45-yard touchdown run.
ELCA led 22-0 at the half.
Upson-Lee 50, Luella 18: Sean Bartram scored two touchdowns and Jeremy Ringfield scored on touchdown for Luella (1-5, 0-1) in its Region 3-AAAA North contest at home.
Newnan 28, Union Grove 7: Kyle Lord scored Union Grove's only touchdown, a 45-yard interception return in the fourth quarter.
Union Grove (3-4 overall, 0-3 in Region 4-AAAAA) has lost four straight games.
Griffin 54, Henry County 8: Ryan Windom rushed for 81 yards on 10 carries and Christian Twiggs added a three-yard touchdown, but the Warhawks were unable to hand the Bears their first subregion loss of the year.
Tri-Cities 14, Morrow 0: Tri-Cities picked up its first victory of the season at home against Morrow (1-6). Morrow has lost six straight games.
