The Clayton County Board of Education will consider filling some of the positions established by its recently adopted reorganization chart.
The board will meet at 7 tonight for a regular monthly business meeting at the Administrative Complex, 1058 Fifth Ave., Jonesboro.
The board will consider approving Superintendent Barbara Pulliam's recommendations for assistant superintendent for teaching and learning P - 16; assistant superintendent for elementary schools; executive director for teaching and learning PK - 12; coordinator for secondary language arts, reading, and foreign language; coordinator for elementary mathematics; coordinator of special education for elementary mild disabilities, special needs preschool, special needs kindergarten, and autism and coordinator of special education high school mild disabilities, K - 12 sensory impairment
Prior to the regular meeting, the board will hold an executive session. The board will also host a reception to recognize the school system's 20 finalists for the 2004 Governor's Honors Program at the same time.
