Ricky Eugene Cagle Sr.

Ricky Eugene Cagle Sr., 48, of Stockbridge, passed away Oct. 16, 2004.

Cagle is survived by his wife Elaine Cagle; sons and daughters-in-law Ricky Eugene and Joanne Cagle Jr. of Dickson, Tenn., and Clayton Dean and Terri Cagle of Dickson, Tenn.; grandchildren Ashley, Brianna and Tyler Cagle, all of Dickson, Tenn.; stepson Jimmy Perciful of Little Rock, Ark.; father Buddy and Pam Cagle of Barnesville; stepmother Barbra Cagle of Barnesville; sisters Vickie Fossett of Barnesville, Donna Criswell of Loganville, Connie Harper of Jesup, Ga., Kathy Kunst of Barnesville, Kay Alejo of Atlanta; brothers Johnny Stanley of Barnesville, James Coleman of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; cousins Lyndia, Phillip and Patrick Brand of Newnan, Eyvonne and Eddie Griffith of Atlanta, Sandra, Jean, Jeff and Kay Whitten of Midway, Otis Murray of Douglasville, and Julian and Patricia Crawford of Florida.

Funeral services for Mr. Cagle will be Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Ward's Fairview Chapel with Dr. Ronnie Barnes officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin at 2 p.m. Family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Helen Strength

Helen J. Strength, 90, of Stockbridge, died Oct. 16, 2004. She was born in Dadeville, Ala., to the late William Clayton and Nannie Mae Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoyce J. Strength Sr., in 2001, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stockbridge.

She is survived by her sons, LeRoyce J. Strength Jr. of Stockbridge, Allen Perry Strength of Chino, Calif.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors with the Rev. Steve Murell officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tallassee, Ala., 2:30 CST.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
