Faith is a 1-year-old, gray and black tabby. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Faith was pregnant when she was abandoned at the door of the Clayton County Humane Society shelter. Quiet, well-mannered and affectionate, Faith is at the top of the list for "lap-cat of the year." For adoption information call the Humane Society at (770) 471-9436.
Olivia is a 2-year-old, reddish-brown mixed breed. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Olivia lived on a farm, but was given only the basics to survive. Little time or attention was given to her. When the farm was sold, the residents packed up and moved, leaving Olivia behind to fend for herself. Olivia sat at the entrance to the farm, day after day, as if waiting for her "caretakers" to return. Clayton County Humane Society staff noticed Olivia sitting in the same place every day at the vacant property. She was rescued and came to live at the Humane Society shelter. She is a sweet dog, but is frightened of anything and anyone unfamiliar to her. Time and patience has proven to be all Olivia needs as she shows signs of improvement each day. She loves to play with the other dogs living at the shelter. Olivia may not be the prettiest dog at the shelter, but she has the potential to make a wonderful companion for someone. For adoption information call the Humane Society at (770) 471-9436.
