The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Jonesboro man in connection with the killing of a former Fayette County commissioner. A warrant has been issued for Thomas Allen Richie, 33, of 254 Concord Lane on charges of murder and theft of property in connection with the death last Thursday of Charles H. Mask, said Fayette County sheriff's Lt. Col. Bruce Jordan. Mask's body was found in a camper behind a rental home he owned on McBride Road on Thursday. He had been killed with a blow from a brick to the head. Jordan said Richie had been doing handyman work for Mask. Investigators are looking for Richie in another state, Jordan said, but he did not specify which state.More like this story
