Hazel Mauldin Binford
Mrs. Hazel Mauldin Binford of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Candy Thacker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Binford is survived by daughter, Kathy and Phil Guptill of Forest Park; sons, Steven Wesley Binford and Randall F. Binford of Morrow; sister, Helen and Jack Eldridge of Toccoa; brother, Leonard Mauldin Jr.; and grandchildren, Beth Binford and Traci Binford, Kennesaw.

Leon O'Neal "Neal" Cave Jr.
Leon O'Neal "Neal" Cave Jr., 48, of Demorest, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at a private health-care facility following an extended illness.
Born in Habersham County on Feb. 4, 1956, he was the son of the late Leon O'Neal and Kathryn Ellison Cave Sr. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of Habersham Central High School, where he played football. He was also a graduate of Piedmont College, where he received a degree in business.
Surviving are sister, Jana Hickerson of Jonesboro; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Niles Baker of Jonesboro; and nephews, Robert Baker, Jacob Baker and Bill Hickerson.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, from Yonah Memorial Gardens with Dr. John Bridges officiating. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Atlanta, Demorest Federated Church, or the Coach Cave Memorial Scholarship Fund of Piedmont College. Effie Mae "Johnnie" Barron
Effie Mae "Johnnie" Barron, 89, of Morrow, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Morrow, Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, Jonesboro Chapter 174, currently Morrow 531, and Past Royal Matron of Amaranth Harmony Court number 14.
She is survived by her husband, Earnest W. Barron; sister, Annie Ruth Hampton of Culloden, Ga.; and nephew, W. Charles Hampton of Culloden, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Jackson will officiate. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers make contributions to Grand Court of GA.
