M.D. Roberts improved to 3-2 after its 20-0 shutout win over Forest Park Tuesday night. Patrick Aldridge led the way with two touchdowns and a 2-point conversion. Marcus Hartsfield rounded out the scoring with a touchdown pass from Cody Yancey. Tyler Mickens picked off two Forest Park passes and Antonio Allen intercepted one pass. Lovejoy 32, Jonesboro 6: Nicholas Dickens completed three touchdown passes and scored a 2-point conversion to help lead Lovejoy to victory Tuesday. Alahondro Carter scored one rushing touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass. Jessie Odum caught a touchdown pass and Donta Russler scored on a run. Riverdale 8, Morrow 6: Fletcher Redd scored on a touchdown run in the third quarter and Clifton Crews added the 2-point conversion. The Riverdale defense stopped a late drive by Morrow to win the game. North Clayton 18, Kendrick 12: North Clayton (5-0) emerged victorious in a battle of undefeated teams Tuesday night. Kanavis Glass scored two touchdowns to lead North Clayton. With one minute remaining in the game, Frederick Barnes connected on a 25-yard touchdown pass to Sedrick Singletary. The defense was led by defensive lineman Jabari Howard. Other key contributors on defense were Jeremy Ross with two interceptions, Albert Carlisle and Charlie Starr. North Clayton closes out the regular season at Pointe South next Tuesday at 5 p.m.More like this story
