Virginia Wilson Kelly

Mr. Virginia Wilson Kelly, 87, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Yonna V. Park of Jonesboro; son and daughter-in-law, Chet and Linda Wilson of Newnan; grandchildren, Karah Park of Jonesboro, Laura Wilson and Cheryl Wilson, both of Newnan.

Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Randall McNeil officiating. Interment will follow at Rover Cemetery in Williamson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Lillian Leonard

Lillian Leonard, 79, of Jonesboro, born February 8, 1926, to the late Olivia and Sanford Vess, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.

Mrs. Leonard was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack C. Lyon, and her second husband, Lt. Col. Curtis Leonard, and a sister, Elizabeth Ham.

Survivors include her son, Sanford Maynard Lyon, and daughter, Deborah Ann Lyon Clark; grandson, Chadwick Lee Clark; granddaughter, Heather Michelle Lyon; sister, Nina B. Ash; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. today.

Funeral services begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 in the chapel of Pope Dickson & Son Jonesboro Chapel. A private family burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Shrine Temple, 400 Ponce De Leon Ave. N.E., Atlanta, Ga. 30308.
