Two females were fighting when a third wielding a knife began "slashing and stabbing," Clayton County police Capt. Jeff Turner said. Police arrested Nicole Michelle Harris, 18, of Jonesboro after two males, Victor Debruhl, 17, and Jarvis Barber, 17, both of Jonesboro were stabbed, Turner said. About 15 to 20 people were arguing at 8436 Magnolia Drive in Jonesboro when two women began physically fighting, he said. Harris, who hadn't been involved in the fight, "popped" a three or four-inch flip knife and started swinging, Turner said. Turner said she was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault. Debruhl was cut across his right eye and stabbed twice in the upper chest. He was transported to Southern Regional Medical Center, and his injuries weren't believed to be life threatening, Turner said. Barber suffered three small cuts to his back, Turner said.More like this story
