Ms. Mildred Irene Forster, 79, of Jonesboro, formerly of Pensacola and Pace, Fla., passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Gardens at the Lake Spivey in Clayton County.
Ms. Forster was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Patterson, N.J. She was the daughter of the late Christopher George Lane and the late Teresa Lane. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McDonough, the Womans Society and the Pioneers Club. She was very active in church and was always involved. She moved to Georgia in 2000 to spend her last few years here.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Sandra Forster of Pace, Fla.; granddaughter, Adrianna and Pedro Gonzalez; grandsons, Christopher Forster, Chad Forster and Michael Forster, all of Pace, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Vianca, Cristian and Pedro Jr. Gonzalez, all of McDonough; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Myrt Lane of Little Falls, N.J.; cousin, Gordon and Betty Currie of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ms. Mildred Irene Forster will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005, at First United Methodist Church in McDonough. The Rev. Mack Watson will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, April 14, 2005, one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be Saturday, April 16, 2005, at 11 a.m. in Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, Fla. Friends may visit the family from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Donate a Brick or Chair Program for PreSchool, First United Methodist Church, 151 Macon St., McDonough, Ga. 30253, in memory of Ms. Forster.
