Charles M. Parker

Charles M. Parker, 55, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, April 18, 2005, at his residence.

He was born in Thomas County, Ga., Aug. 28, 1949, to Roy F. and Betty (Warren) Parker.

Charles is survived by daughter, Tracey Ragon, Griffin; son, Jamie Parker, Griffin; father Roy F. Parker and stepmother Sandra Parker, Jonesboro; mother, Betty Edenfield; wife, Joyce Parker, Rex; sisters, Gail, Rhonda, Brenda and Joan; brothers, Roger and Mike; and grandchildren, Amber, Shannon, and Blake.

The family will receive friends today, April 21, 2005, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

William Donald Harris

William Donald Harris, 77, of Riverdale, Ga., died Wednesday, April 20, 2005.

Mr. Harris was a native of Newnan, Ga. He retired from Delta Air Lines in 1989 after 32 years of service. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Japan and Okinawa.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Joyce Harris of Riverdale, Ga.; daughter, Robin Gail (Allan) Ramsey of Stockbridge, Ga.; son, William Donald (Lisa) Harris Jr. of Locust Grove, Ga.; son, James David (Deah) Harris of Locust Grove, Ga.; son, William Jason (Samantha) Harris of McDonough, Ga.; one brother, Pleasant Luther Harris of Cleveland, Ohio; mother-in-law, Erma Fuller of Hogansville, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005, at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Dr. Tim Dowdy officiating.
