The Clayton County Board of Education will conduct a budget work session at 6:30 tonight in the Clayton County Administrative Complex, 1058 Fifth Ave., Jonesboro. The work session will be the first opportunity for board members to ask questions about five options presented for the fiscal year 2006 general fund. Updates to these options will also be presented. The board will also review the school system's other funds, the enterprise, fiduciary, special revenue and capital projects funds. A second board work session will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 29 at the Administrative Complex. The school board will hold an executive session during the work session and consider recommendations to fill principal positions at Adamson Middle School, Forest Park High School, Forest Park Middle School and Sequoyah Middle School.More like this story
