Clayton County police have arrested two elementary school students and charged them with bringing a gun to school. Officers arrested the two boys, 11 and 12 years old, both of Riverdale, on Thursday in connection with the April 19 incident that occurred at E.W. Oliver Elementary in Riverdale, Clayton County Police Capt. Jeff Turner said. Turner said one of the boys took the gun, a .380 caliber Lorcin automatic, from his brother's closet. "He took it to school on a dare," Turner said. The boys apparently pointed the gun in the faces of some other students who then reported the incident to their parents. The parents told E.W. Oliver Principal Ronald Boykins who then investigated the incident and turned over the information on the two boys to police.More like this story
