The Jonesboro girls play host to Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe today at 5:30 p.m. while the boys play host to Woodland Thursday at 6 p.m. Both games will be played at Jonesboro High School.
"We have more students who come out to the games when we play at the school and that's great," Jonesboro girls head coach Matt Trucks said. "The girls have said they play better when there's more fan support so we definitely want to play at home."
The Jonesboro girls (11-4-1) won the Region 5-AAAA championship Friday by beating North Atlanta 3-2 on penalty kicks in overtime.
