Mr. Maurice Dixon Boutwell, Jr.
Mr. Maurice Dixon Boutwell, Jr., age 64, of McDonough, Ga. died July 29, 2005.
He was born January 28, 1941 in Fulton County the son of the late Maurice Dixon Boutwell, Sr. and Mildred Elizabeth Abercrombie Boutwell of Jonesboro. He was a teacher with Newton County High School, he enjoyed his family, being around people, teaching and yard work.
Survivors are his children, Kristi Boutwell Sweatt and husband Todd of Fayetteville, Brent Boutwell and wife Heidi of McDonough; wife of previous marriage, Cassandra Boutwell of Fayetteville; brother, Richard D. Boutwell of Jasper; grandchildren, Lynsey Sweatt, Caroline Boutwell, Dawson Sweatt, Caleb Boutwell and Camdyn Sweatt; nephews, Heath and Dalton Boutwell.
A memorial service for Mr. Boutwell will be Thursday, August 4, 2005 - 1 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Lewis officiating. Jessie Allison, age 77, of Rex, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2005.
She is survived by her husband of 48-years, George Allison; son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Bernadette Kirk; daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Charlie Forgey; son and fiancé, Mark Allison and Carolyn Waller; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Dale Cozad; and son, Trenton Jones; seven grandchildren including Taylor, Thrash and Brian Cozad, and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, as well as Snoopy, their beloved dog.
Mrs. Allison was affiliated with Liberty Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Ga.
Her family will receive friends for visitation at Pope Dickson and Son- Morrow Chapel today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
Memorial services are planned for Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Glenn Anderson and Reverend Roger Prilhart officiating.

Rev. Billy C. Foster
Rev. Billy C. Foster of Jonesboro died August 1, 2005 at Emory Hospital.
Funeral services for Rev. Foster will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Moody and Rev. Arnold Skelton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens in Cornelia, Ga. at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Harriett Foster of Jonesboro; mother, Essie Mae Foster of Cornelia; daughters, Leslie and David Haynie of Jonesboro; Ann and Pete Palermo of Fayetteville; Laura and Ryan Carlton of Dallas; sister, Betty Jane Fain of Cornelia; brothers, John and Bobbie Foster of Cornelia and Wayne and Joan Foster of Cornelia; nieces and nephews.
Rev. Foster was the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church for 25 years.
