School anxiety returns even after graduation - Justin Boron
August has arrived. With it comes the scramble for school supplies, the hullabaloo of tax-free weekends, and understandably the dismay of students who have to return to the grind of five to six classes a day broken up by a lunch period barely long enough to strike up a conversation.

The pictures of our life - Zach Porter
Upon going anywhere for a trip, long or short; New York City or the Arizona desert, I think not so much about what I will see, but how I will capture and interpret what I see. Sure, I will enjoy my visit but capturing it with a picture will be the greater joy; without which the whole trip would seem to be for not.

Pets of the Week
Rocky is a 2-year-old, Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. He has been neutered and all vaccinations are current. Rocky was surrendered to the Humane Society when his family had to be relocated to Germany. He is a little sad and confused, but he is attempting to adjust to his new circumstances. He lived with children and did very well with them, but will need a home where all children are 8-years-old or older. He is a very sweet boy, but his new family should be prepared to show him some patience while he gets accustomed to new surroundings. Rocky is completely housebroken. For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at (770) 471-9436. Visit www.claytoncountyhumane.org to see other animals available for adoption.

Stop trying to tell the end of the Harry Potter book - Bob Paslay
I thought I was the only one - until I went to the Internet and found out it was happening everywhere. I would walk into a restaurant with my "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" and the waitress would say, "Hey, can you believe how it ended?" I would come into work and those who had not read the book but found some Web site that revealed the ending would taunt me. They would tell me all about it before I had the pleasure of reading it myself. Even my own sister, who learned of the ending from some woman at her work, asked did I want to know how it ended? Any secrets I would find out by reading it myself.
Of weddings and web pages - Rob Felt
It had been at least an hour of sitting in front of the glowing screen hunched over, before I fully realized the trouble I may be in. Fingers curled over the keyboard and moving a hundred miles an hour, I'm trying to save my presence in cyberspace and the security of my wedding at the same time.
