Clayton County Police are still trying to identify the body of a young woman that was found in a creek bed.
Investigators also still do not know how the woman, believed to be in her 20s, died. Around 7 p.m. Friday a man walking along Lee's Mill Road just east of Ga. Highway 85 near Riverdale looked over a bridge railing and saw the woman's body below, according to Clayton County Assistant Police Chief Jeff Turner.
The woman was lying face down in the creek bed. She was a black female, medium build with red extensions in her hair wearing a white shirt and blue and white mini-skirt. She had the word "Peaches" tattooed on her lower back, Turner said.
Anyone with information the body should call police at (770) 477-3648.
