Douglas E. Murray, age 57, of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005.
Mr. Murray was a member of First Baptist Church of Hampton. He bravely served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an entrepreneur an owned and operated Murray's Towing Company.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Claire Murray of Vancouver, Wash.; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Dan Powers of Overland Park, SW, Tammy and Gerald Malloy of Senoia; mother, Frances Murray of Young Harris; brothers, Larry and Michael; three grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Murray and Miles Malloy; and two nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for this morning at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hampton and will be officiated by the Rev. Buddy Perstrope. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, December 1st at Pope Dickson & Son- Jonesboro Chapel.
