Dorettta Mae McAfoos Dorettta Mae McAfoos of Morrow, Ga. died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. McAfoos, and son, Thomas E. McAfoos. Chapel services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters, Lois and Bob Allen of Clearwater, Fla., Nancy and Jim Hootman of Jonesboro, Ga., and Audrey and Fred Scheafnocker of Copperar Cove, Texas; sons, Paul and Pat McAfoos of Morrow, Ga. and Larry and Rona McAfoos of Lilliam, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Thrailkill was a human resource secretary for the Clayton County Board of Education and she was a member of Kenwood First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Thrailkill. She is survived by her children, Stacie Thrailkill of Atlanta and Joel and Hope Thrailkill of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Leah Thrailkill and Sydney Thrailkill, both of Locust Grove; sisters, Mary Green of Camden, Ark., Gene and Anna Rasco of Ashdown, Ark., Larry and Martha Earls of Marietta, Ga., George and Sherry Craft of Merryville, La., and Ed and Phyllis Orr of Bentonville, Ark.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16 at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with the Rev. Lynn McLain and the Rev. Darrell Hayes officiating.
