Jonesboro police arrested three people after finding stolen motorcycles and drugs at a house on Render Street. Angela Duncan, 26, and Mitchell Swygert, 42, both of 113 Render St., were arrested along with Ginger Betsill, 37, of Riverdale, Jonesboro Police Department Sgt. Wayne Woods said. At about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday a Jonesboro officer stopped Betsill for a broken windshield as she was pulling into the driveway of the Render Street home with Swygert as a passenger. Woods said the officer started questioning Betsill and Swygert about a pressure washer that was in the car, and when their stories didn't match police began investigating further. Woods said he did not know if the pressure washer was stolen. Police found three stolen motorcycles, two Suzukis and a BMW, in the driveway of the house. They also found a small quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine in the house, where Duncan was at the time of the traffic stop, and in the yard. Also, with the cooperation of Clayton County police they found a stolen U-Haul rental truck at another residence on Adamson Road. Woods said investigators believe that the truck was used to transport the stolen property. More arrests are expected in the case, Woods said.More like this story
