Mrs. Ealon Pritchett, 96, of East Point passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005.
She was born Oct. 2, 1908, in Fairburn, Ga. to the late George and Willie Agnes Griffin. Mrs. Pritchett was retired from Arrow Shirt Company, and was very active in Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Christian Women's Club of Atlanta, and later a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Pritchett, a son, Kenneth A. Pritchett, five sisters and four brothers.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Gwen and Ken Sheesley of East Point; daughter-in-law, Elise Pritchett of Atlanta; grandchildren, Jeffrey Sheesley, Woody Pritchett, Tammy Brown, Wesley Pritchett and Roland Pritchett; nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro with Dr. Charles Q. Carter and Dr. Dean Haun officiating. Remains will be placed in state at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
