Robert T. London

Robert T. London, age 52, of Jonesboro, died on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack London Sr. He is survived by his mother, Frances London, of Jonesboro; sister and brother-in-law, Aileen and J.D. Adkins, of Jonesboro; brother, Ramon London, of Jonesboro; and two nephews. Mr. London was a member of the Church of Christ in Lake City.

The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pope Dickson & Son Funeral Directors-Jonesboro Chapel. Floy Jo Duncan

Mrs. Floy Jo Duncan, 90, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005. Mrs. Duncan was a retired retail sales manager and was the widow of Mabry Duncan, who was a farmer and rancher in Texas. Mrs. Duncan was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro since 1977, and she was an active participant in her Sunday School class and the "Saints Alive" Senior Citizens program at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Ret. Lt. Col. David Pohl, of Jonesboro, and grandsons, Scott and Eric Pohl.

Funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Irvin Pearre officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. C.S.T. at Copperas Cove City Cemetery in Copperas Cover, Texas.

Sara J. Hall

Mrs. Sara Janie Hall, age 84, of Hall Road, Hampton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005.

Mrs. Hall was born in Fayette County on Nov. 15, 1920 to the late J.D. Wilder and the late Leila Mae Shivers Wilder. Mrs. Hall and her husband, J.R. Hall, opened the Hall Grocery Store in Clayton County in the panhandle area in 1946, and in 1971 they opened the Hall's Flying Ranch in the panhandle area.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, J.R. Hall; son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Linda Hall, of Fayetteville; daughter and son-in-law, Patty Keahey Mask and Donald Mask, of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jimmy Hall, Connie Jones, Billy Hall, Joey Keahey, Jody Keahey, Jeff Keahey and Michelle O'Kelley; great-grandchildren, Charley Hall, Stephen Duran, Michael Duran, Audrey Hall, Sara Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Hall will be conducted on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Rev. Wendell Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carl Edwards

Carl Edwards, of Morrow, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Edwards, of Morrow; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and David Blankenship, of Woodstock; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Edwards, of Covington, John and Lorrie Edwards, of Forsyth, Joe and Teresa Edwards, of Ellenwood, Scott Edwards, of Conyers, and Dan Edwards, of Covington; sisters, Helen Voyles, of Stone Mountain, Thelma Dobbs, of Decatur, Jean Winfrey, of Stone Mountain; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Doris Dukes, of Riverdale, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Sweat, of Riverdale; sons, Wayne Dukes, of Riverdale, Glen Dukes, of Jonesboro; brother, James Horton, of McDonough; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
