Leroy E. Danielson
Leroy E. Danielson, 82, of McDonough, Ga. died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at Sacred Journey Hospice.
He was an avid sports fan and loved to work in his yard. He retired from the United States Army, serving during World War II and the Korean conflict. He was born in St. Helens, Ore. to Samuel and Demaris Danielson. He cherished caring for his wife and providing for his family.
Leroy Danielson is survived by his wife, Billie S. Danielson of McDonough, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Melissa Danielson of McDonough, Ga.; sister, Margie Mendenhall of Vancouver, Wash.; grandchildren, Donald and Kerri Baxter of Jonesborough, Tenn., Aundrea D. and Chris Lea of Loganville, Ga., and Heather M. Danielson of Dacula, Ga.; two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald E. Baxter, and daughter, Timmye D. Stone.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with the Rev. Al O'Quinn officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Laura Brooks Gazaway
Ms. Laura Brooks Gazaway, 75, of Ellenwood passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2005.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Ward's Fairview Chapel. Burial will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Marble Hill, Ga.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda and Tony King of Ellenwood and Judy and Wayne Bridges of Ellenwood; grandchildren, Shane McDonald of Ellenwood, Sandy Barrette of McDonough, Mikeal McDonald of Ellenwood, and Brandy McDonald of Pensacola; nine great-grandchildren; ex-husband, Roy Gazaway; four nieces and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Emma Carpenter McCann
Emma Carpenter McCann, 95, of Tree Brook Farm, Thornton, Pa. died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, in West Chester, Pa.
She was the wife of the late Allen W. McCann, Jr. Mrs. McCann was born Sept. 18,1909, in Wethersfield, Conn., daughter of the late Harry B. and Martha Adams Carpenter. She lived in Thornton, Pa. for over 56 years. She was a former member of Dilworthtown Presbyterian Church. Mrs. McCann enjoyed weaving, sewing, and needlepoint. She also collected seashells and enjoyed spending time with her husband in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Survivors are her sons, Harry C. McCann (his wife Barbara) of Locust Grove, Ga. and Allen W. McCann 3rd (his wife Maureen) of Thornton; her grandchildren, Bill, Susan, Amy, Jeff, Steve, and Harry McCann, Michelle Bryant, Barby Amico and Chuck Thompson; her 17 great-grandchildren, who knew her as Geegee; brother-in-law, Newlin "Sunny" McCann of Landenberg, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Gertrude Carpenter Pope, who died in 1987.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 101 S. Church St., West Chester, Pa. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.

Gordon Moore, 67, of Lawrenceville passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005.
Mr. Moore was a native of Halls, Tenn. He obtained his B.S. and Masters Degree in Education from Memphis State University, and a Specialist degree in Education from the University of Georgia. He was a successful high school football coach, receiving recognition as "Coach of the Year" twice. Mr. Moore retired as Principal of Henry County High School, which was named "Georgia School of Excellence" in 1989, under his dedicated leadership. He served in the Air Force, and the Navy, and Air Force Reserves. He was a loving and protective husband, father, and grandfather, who always put his family first. He was a caring and generous friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Teresa Moore.
The funeral service begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Eternal Hills Chapel. Entombment follows in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Teresa; daughter, Angelita Greene and husband Tim of Lawrenceville; son, Gordon Moore II and wife Lisa of Lawrenceville; brothers, Buddy Moore of Halls, Tenn., Max Moore of Memphis, Tenn., and Fred Moore of Brighton, Tenn.; grandchildren, Dustin, Kristin, Lori, Cassie Greene, Brittany, Gordon Michael, Dakota, and Desiree Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Liver, Diabetes, or Heart Associations.

Leona Haywood Northcutt
Leona Haywood Northcutt, 65, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her father, A.C. Northcutt, two brothers and two sisters.
