Earl L. (Doc) Baldwin
Mr. Earl L. (Doc) Baldwin, 84, of Birmingham, Ala. died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. (C.S.T.) Thursday, Jan. 13, at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood, Ala. Graveside services will begin at 3 p.m. (E.S.T.) at Sherwood Memorial Gardens and Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. at Valley Chapel.
Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Mary Hodges Baldwin; daughter, Sue Bowen (Jerry); son, Ronny Baldwin (Joan); grandchildren, Mike Baldwin (Lisa), Selena Lewis (Skip), and Corey Baldwin (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Evan Lewis and Peyton Lewis.
Doc was a member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. A Mason, Shriner, and an avid flier, he was employed by Delta Air Lines as an Inspector.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Mountain Brook Baptist Church.

Ida Lee Cape
Funeral services for Ida Lee Cape, 84, of Greenville, Ga. will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at Tara Garden Chapel, Jonesboro with son-in-law the Rev. Wayne E. Settle and grandsons the Rev. David R. Cape, the Rev. Steve Cape, and the Rev. Jason Settle officiating. Graveside service and burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today
Mrs. Cape, a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church and former member of West Merritts Baptist Church in Atlanta, went to be with her Lord Monday, Jan. 10, 2005.
She was a retired employee of 37 years for Nabisco and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Wayne Settle of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, David and Lauren Cape of Ellijay; daughter, Betty Turner of Locust Grove; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren who all "rise up and call her blessed, for her price is far above rubies."

Mrs. Virginia Russell, 68, of Stockbridge died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005.
Mrs. Russell is survived by a son Scott Russell of Cumming, Ga.; daughters, Laura White of Cumming, Cheryl Harper of Duluth, Ga., and Judy Montgomery of McDonough, Ga.; brother, Joseph E. Linn Jr.; nine grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
