Edna Marie Allen

Edna Marie Allen, 85, of McDonough, formerly of Morrow, passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2005.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morrow for more than 30 years.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert "Neil" (Ninnah) Allen Jr. of Orlando, Fla. and Don (Jeannie) Allen of Alpharetta; daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Samuel M.) Johnson of McDonough; son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. "Bob" (Judy) Allen of Acworth; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie (Tommy) Watkins of Shreveport, La.; brothers, Phillip Byron Carlisle of Owensboro, Ky. and Don W. Carlisle of Deltona, Fla.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services began at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 at the First Baptist Church of Morrow with remains placed in state one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Stephen Cook officiated. Interment followed at College Park Cemetery.

Betty Hart McWilliams

Mrs. Betty Hart McWilliams, 70, of Forest Park passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, after an extended illness.

She was born in Franklin County, Ga. June 16, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carlton McWilliams Sr.

Survivors include her children, Paul and Cynthia McWilliams of Martinez, Chip and Kristin McWilliams of Tyrone, and Robyn and Joe Cobb of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Paul McWilliams, Joseph McWilliams, David McWilliams, Rachel Cobb, Daniel Cobb, Carlton McWilliams, and Ellison McWilliams.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 14 at the Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City with a visitation to follow.
