Robison Adamson

Dr. Donna Lynn Robison Adamson, age 49, of Macon, died Jan. 15, 2005. Dr. Adamson was born Oct. 17, 1955, in Chicago. She received her bachelors and masters degrees from Bob Jones College and her doctorate from Tabernacle Baptist College. Dr. Adamson taught at Bob Jones College, Tennessee Temple College, Clayton College and State University, Mount Vernon Christian School, Forest Park Christian School, Lake Dow Christian School and Central Fellowship Christian School. She was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading, drama, teaching and missionary work.

Dr. Adamson is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Charles Adamson, of Macon; parents, Lloyd and Ethel Robison, of McDonough; brothers, John Robison, of McDonough, and Rev. Lloyd Robison, of Anderson, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dr. Adamson will be Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at 11 a.m. at The Rock Baptist Church in Rex, with Rev. Lloyd Robison and Rev. Rodney Queen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. W.C. "Jimmy" Tinsley

Mr. W.C. "Jimmy" Tinsley, age 86, of McDonough, died Jan. 16, 2005 at Henry Medical Center. Mr. Tinsley was born Aug. 6, 1918, in Miami, the son of the late Hazel Desrocheh and Walter Charles Tinsley Sr. Mr. Tinsley was a cattle broker. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and graduated from Edison High School.

Survivors are his loving wife, Betty Phillips Tinsley, of McDonough; son, Robert Charles Tinsley Sr., of Pel City, Ala.; sister, Audrey McKibben, of Stuart, Fla.; grandsons, Robert Charles Tinsley Jr., of Denver, Colo., and Mark Brian Tinsley, of Douglasville; grandsons, Cal and Parker Tinsley; great-granddaughters, Anna Lane and Maria Tinsley; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Tinsley will be Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with entombment at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Marvin Allen Gray

Mr. Marvin Allen Gray, age 51, of Locust Grove, died Jan. 16, 2005 at Henry Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1953, in Fulton County, Ga. Survivors are children, Jeremy Gray, of Alpharetta, Melissa Harris and Joey Gray, of Stockbridge; parents, Corbit and Martha Gray, of Locust Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Melvin Mayhall, of Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Joyce Gray, of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Morgan Gaines, McKayla Harris and Jax Harris, of Stockbridge; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Marvin Gray will be Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Gray officiating.
