Celebrate America, the annual salite to God and country by First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, will be held on July 3 at 6 p.m. in the Church's Worship Center. The special musical guests will be Pine Moutain Railroad. A hotdog supper is from 4 to 5:45 p.m. at the ROC. Tickets are $1 and go on sale June 5 at St. James Place in the church. Tickets may also be purchased during the week at the ROC. St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church; 5241 Ash Street; Forest Park will be having a Summer Fest July 9 from 2 to 9 p.m. There will be a yard sale, crafts, games, Bible stories, an Ice Cream Social and a free dinner. The Early Learning Center of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro offers a Summer Program for children ages 1 year to 6 years.
