Arla Mae Deloch Copeland, 84, of Rowland Court, Jonesboro, formerly of Calhoun passed away Friday, July 8, 2005. she was born June 25, 1921 in Lyons, Ga. to the late Emmett Deloch and Arzora Courson Deloach.
Mrs. Copeland was the retired owner and operator of several businesses including the Bargain Barn and the Dumpling House Restaurant both of Calhoun. She was a member of the Community Bible Church, the Red Hat Society and the DAR. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Copeland, a brother Dan Deloach and a sister, Bernice Edenfield. Survivors include her four daughters and sons-in-law, Scarlette and Dave Moyer of Acworth, Linda and David Turner of McDonough, Debbie and Randy McCann of Windermere, Fla and Pam and Dan Dunn of Carrollton; two sisters, Alene VanDuerson of Vidalia and Carolyn Stephens of Decatur, six grandchildren, Stephanie Wagner, Kim Ramey, Leigh Turner, Leah McCann, Matthew McCann and Alura Dunn, also surviving are five great grandchildren, Nickolas and Dylan Wagner and Julian, Erin and T.J. Famey.
